I've had a much better day today. Graham and I saw the most giant horse cock (sadly, we had no good means for documentation) on our way back from our attempt at hiking, It was quite pleasant meandering around waterbury.... not covered in slick snow like Hunger Mountain. Later on, Cori and I had the best jam session I think we've ever had.

I road my bike to work yesterday, and I felt really good about it until the freezing rain started coming in around noon. Thank goodness for Nate... I don't think I would have survived pedaling home in that mess. I plan to get back on the bike as soon as the roads are dry. I'm done letting winter confine me to a stupid car -- even if I have to layer myself into a cocoon. I've got industrial space mitts... I can take it.

I also biked to class on Monday night -- it was my first day of Environmental Science. I think it's gonna be good. Except that I'm going to have to give a 15 minute presentation, which terrifies me. The few times I've ever had to do that, my face gets crazy red and my vision goes white.

Ugli fruits have been on sale for a buck at the Chopper. I must be peeing pure citric acid by now. More uncomfortable are the hives... but the fruit is so tasty...

1. I did not fall once (significantly) whilst riding my bike home at night.
2. I got at least three good hikes in -- two of which have made me sore.
3. I survived three straight hours of Christian Fundamentalism, and enjoyed every second.
4. I did not get a new job -- oh wait... that's bad.
5. I felt like I was in another country (perhaps even another time period) at least twice...
6. I did not watch t.v.
7. I reminisced on the college experience (Beirut) -- sadly, we lost (but I made good shots!)
8. I wrote music.
9. I rode my bike incessantly.
10. I ate more muffins than vegetables -- though I've decided that someone should totally put sweet potatoes in a pastry.
